Men's Overcoat Size Chart
Like their name suggests, our Loden Overcoats are sized to be comfortably worn over an interior layer, like a suit jacket, blazer, cardigan or sweater. This includes these classic styles: Tirol & Sud Tiroler, Shiver No More, Rory, Joseph and Holmes. Our other Loden coats like the Liezen, Markus, Louis, Mandling and Peter are *just* coats, so they are not made with extra room for a suit jacket. Just order your true size.
Bottom line, when ordering any product from us, there is no need to size up! If you know your suit jacket size, use that, otherwise take a measurement of your chest and match it to the chart below.
Also if you prefer a modern/trim fit, simply order 1 size down.
Rest assured we stand by our customers and if necessary make it very easy to process an exchange just in case you get more than you were looking for and need to size down.
The most important measurement is the circumference of your chest. Measure your chest at its widest point.

Our coats are sized to allow room for a suit jacket or thick sweater underneath, so if you want a closer fit, order one size smaller.
We also offer Short (S) and Long (L) sizes for taller/shorter lengths. The short size will be about 2 cm shorter than a regular and the long size about 2 cm longer than regular. If you are:
shorter than 5'7" you should probably order S
taller than 6'2" you should probably order L
