the remarkable 100% virgin wool, (no cheap synthetics mixed in) is knit and felted according to the centuries old austrian tradition of 'walken'. the result is a dense, warm, soft and durable wool fabric that has been used in the alps for centuries. boiled wool is warm but temperature regulating for optimal comfort even in varying temperatures.
this particular fabric was milled by gottstein, deep in the austrian alps in the alpine region of tirol.
