Men's Hunter Jacket Raw Edges
Distinguished by the contrasting traditional deer antler buttons and modern raw edges this hunter style jacket is full of intrigue.
The remarkable pure wool knit fabric is actually a melange, which means it's made out of a mix of different shades of the primary color, like blue for example. The fabric has been felted through a traditional process called, 'walken' in German. The result is a denser, warmer more durable wool fabric that has been used in the Alps for centuries. Boiled wool is temperature regulating so you never get too hot even when active and it is also naturally odor reducing, dirt resistant and water wicking.
This particular fabric was milled by Gottstein, deep in the Austrian Alps in the region of Tirol. However, the fabric was brought to the United States where it is carefully cut and hand sewn by expert seamstresses according to size and color specifications as soon as you place your order.
