When the children start coming home with homemade easter decorations from kindergarten, we know it won't be long before we can hang up our Loden wool coats and take our favorite Linen jackets out of the cellar. Linen is one of the oldest clothing fabrics used by man and has been a staple of traditional Alpine fashion.
The Jane linen womens blazer featured here is a classic Austrian style. It is produced for Robert W. Stolz by Steinbock of Austria, a well-known international name in refined Alpine fashion.
The 100% linen fabric used in the Jane was woven in the Italian textile town of Prato, where producing the worlds finest fabrics has been a passion for centuries. Our particular linen fabric comes from the distinguished Nuovo Ri Vera mill.
Owing to a unique finishing process, our fine linen is not prone to wrinkling, but is both very soft and durable. Most importantly, its light weight is a pure pleasure to wear, keeping you cool on warm Summer days and just warm enough on cool Spring evenings.
Our Jane womens linen blazer features exquisite details, carefully attended to by the Steinbock's Romanian sewers. This is not a mass produced jacket, in fact all the styles in the Robert W. Stolz collection are produced in small batches and are not available anywhere else in the United States.
The sizing of the Jane runs true, order your standard size, or European/Austrian size if you know it.
